PRIVACY

Cogo is a New Zealand research agency with extensive experience in insights research, measurement and evaluation. They are experts in collecting primary data through online surveys and focus groups, and deliver all aspects of the research in-house.

TradeCareers does not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others. TradeCareers may provide aggregate statistics about our customers, traffic patterns, and related site information to reputable third-party vendors, but these statistics will include no personally identifying information.

Cogo maintains rigorous privacy and confidentiality protocols with respect to how they collect and analyse information provided by research participants. Online survey responses for the WITC project will be completely anonymous and all information provided will be combined with other survey responses for reporting to the Women in Trades Collective.

At the end of the survey, respondents will be invited to enter an email address in order to enter the prize draw. Respondents will then be directed away from the survey to a separate online form where their email address will be recorded separately from their survey response.

Online survey participants will be offered the opportunity to answer the survey questions kanohi ki te kanohi (face-to-face) if they would prefer, in line with Kaupapa Māori research methods. Survey data collected face-to-face will not be anonymous, however Cogo guarantees that respondents’ information will be kept confidential.

All information provided in focus groups will be kept confidential. Focus group participants will be required to respect and maintain the privacy of other participants and will sign a consent form to that effect.

All data collected will be used only for the purpose of reporting results for the WITC project and will be destroyed on completion of the project.
